I drew this one in Montreal at the American Anthropological Association annual conference. Had a blast there. I’ll be posting more work up soon, as it’s thanksgiving break here at Hofstra U.
A moment in time I’ve been playing with artistically. This is likely going to be (at least conceptually) part of a larger work.
Here’s something I’m working on; very preliminary designs for an Iron Man-inspired helmet. I wanted to make it out of paper first, just to get an idea of the design, but paper wasn’t nearly structural enough to give me a really good base.
I’ve already made a lot of changes which I’m going to apply to the next model (cardboard.) The adjustable visor was kind of an afterthought, and it’ll be much less clunky in the next model.
Hoping to make this out of copper by the end of the year. Wish me luck!
